Welcome to BubbleFM. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Data Collection & Processing
BubbleFM is designed to be privacy-friendly. We do not store or collect any of your Last.fm data on our servers.
When you enter a Last.fm username, our application fetches data directly from the Last.fm API. All data processing and image generation happens locally in your web browser. We never save your listening history, top artists, or tracks.
2. Third-Party Services
Our application interacts with the following third-party services:
- Last.fm API: We use the Last.fm API to fetch public scrobble data. By using BubbleFM, you also agree to the Last.fm Terms of Service.
- Analytics (Umami): We use Umami, a privacy-focused and cookie-less analytics tool, to collect anonymous usage data (such as page views and feature usage). Umami does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) and complies with global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA).
- Hosting: Our website is hosted on modern infrastructure platforms (such as Vercel) which may automatically collect standard connection information like IP addresses and user agents for security, debugging, and performance analytics.
3. Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage (LocalStorage) to enhance your experience. This includes:
- Saving your theme preference (Light or Dark mode).
- Remembering if you have dismissed informational banners or snackbars.
This data is stored entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us.
4. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
